Zardozi is a traditional Persian form of embroidery which caught its hold in India during the “Mughal Era“. Its literal translation, “zar” meaning gold and “dozi” meaning embroidery, refers to the process of using metallic-bound threads to sew embellishment on to various fabrics. Along with the threads, other opulent embellishments such as sequins, beads, precious and semi-precious stones and pearls were also sewn on.
We all love to carry this royal form of art on our clads for special occasions.

Shisha (the Hindi word for “little glass”) embroidery is also known as mirror-work or abla embroidery. Originally, pieces of mica were used as the mirrors, but later, thin blown-glass pieces were broken and used.
We all love to carry the small mirrors embroidered in colourful threads on our collection of Kurtis and Blouses.
